[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. Sixth plate daguerreotype portrait of a young mixed race girl.
Sixth plate seated studio portrait of a young girl of mixed ethnicity. (Tarnishing to edges; resealed.) Housed in a pressed paper case.
The young subject wears a choker necklace with circular brooch and a slightly off-the-shoulder dress. Her hair is parted centrally and curled back on either side. Her face bears a somewhat forlorn expression as she gazes directly into the camera.
